Modi College students visited Pisoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd.

The Training and Placement Cell of Modi College organized an industrial visit to Pisoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd., Mohali on 15th November, 2025. As many as 60 students of the Computers department learned about coding, website development, and the workflow involved in handling clients and real-time projects. An MoU for mutual growth, fruitful cooperation, and placement support was also signed.
Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal appreciated the efforts of the concerned departments for arranging such visits, which will be helpful in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial application.
Mr. Harish Chawla, Vice President of the company, delivered an insightful lecture on outsourcing, ERP portals, and the growing importance of technology in modern business operations. The live demonstrations conducted by the technical team helped students understand how professional websites and applications are developed from scratch. The company will also be providing training to MCA and BCA final semester students of this session.
Prof. Parminder Kaur, convenor of the Training and Placement Cell said that the visit proved highly enriching and provided the students with valuable hands-on training, exposure to industry standards, and motivation to enhance their technical skills for future career opportunities.
